Frogs was recorded on a small lake in Italy, with a surrounding rich soundscape of mating frogs, birds and waterfalls. This dense, complex and ever changing sound mass kept providing material that was incorporated and transformed by the two improvisors in a very personal way. Between soundscape composition and free improvisation, Frogs expresses a musical complicity that has been cultivated for ten years of diverse collaborations and friendship. It is a highly meditative recording, where the careful listening of the natural ambient sounds of the lake are the triggers for an inner reflexion.

Frogs foi gravado junto a um pequeno lago perto de Marzabotto, Itália. A paisagem sonora envolvente, que incluia rãs em época de acasalamento, pássaros e cascatas gerou uma massa sonora densa e complexa que providenciou o material que foi incorporado e transformado pelos dois improvisadores de uma forma muito pessoal. Entre a sounspace composition e a livre improvisação, Frogs expressa uma cumplicidade musical que tem vindo a ser cultivada ao longo de dez anos de colaborações e amizade. É uma gravação altamente meditativa, onde a cuidada audição dos sons naturais do lago faz desencadear um processo de auto reflexão.
